There are several online learning tools available to HCC faculty, including Eagle Online, Learning Web and Edutube.
- Eagle Online: Learning Management System

Eagle Online is Houston Community College’s learning management system (LMS). Faculty use Eagle Online for distance education, hybrid, and in-person courses. Moodle HCC currently uses a version of the open source software, Moodle, hosted by Moodlerooms. The college will move to a learning management system, Canvas, in the Fall 2016. Edutube is HCC’s instructional media repository. Any faculty member can use Edutube to host media files, including audio, video and presentations.

The Learning Web is Houston Community College’s open instructional publishing platform.
- Respondus: Exam Authoring Tool

Respondus is a desktop software application for authoring web-based quizzes and exams that can be delivered in HCC’s learning management system, Eagle Online. Faculty can install Respondus on both a work and a personal computer. - Turnitin: Plagiarism Detection & Feedback for Student Writing

Turnitin is an online service that checks for plagiarism and provides feedback for student writing assignments.
